Sending film from outside the UK
Now that the UK is no longer part of the EU, posting orders requires you to complete a customs declaration when you send film to us and by The Darkroom UK Ltd when it is returned.
Problems October 2021
We have experienced a number of problems sending completed orders overseas and we are not accepting any non-UK orders until Royal Mail and UK Customs have a clear set of guidelines. It may be possible to use a courier such as DHL or UPS but expect to pay a customs duty on receipt of your completed order.
You must pay for the postage in full and attach a completed CN22 to the package. These can normally be obtained from a post office or online in your own country. The CN22A or B must declare the contents and value and now should have a barcode for electronic customs handling ( up to £270 GBP ).
Select the correct postage
When you place the order online through our shop, you are asked to select the type of postage. If you are in the European postal zone for postage you must select that option or else we cannot return your order without further payment.
If you are outside the European postal zone ( World Zones 1-3 ) then we regret we are unable to provide services to you.
Guidelines and rules may be subject to changes outside of the control of The Darkroom UK Ltd. Your local postal service or Royal Mail will have the latest information.
